Most architectural firms offer everything: full design, project management, premium fees. Daniel ran that practice (he still does, as Cullen Keiser Architecture). But he noticed: most homeowners adding a bathroom or removing a wall don't need a full architectural service. They need the consent paperwork done properly, at a price that doesn't blow the project budget.
Mr Draughty exists to do exactly that. Same drawing standard, same council relationships, but priced for a minor consent, not a full architectural service.
Why we're cheaper than a full architectural service
Full architectural services charge $5,000–$9,000 for the same consent paperwork because they're set up for full-scope work. We do minor consents only: same drawing standard, narrower scope, lower fee. The price reflects what we do, not what we don't.
